Packaging and cold-chain quality — what good looks like

Unboxing-as-quality-signal. The best packouts I've received: insulated mailer, enough gel packs to survive a hot day, vials cushioned so nothing rattles, COA included or linked.

The worst: a padded envelope and hope. Let's catalogue what good cold-chain packaging looks like so newcomers know what to expect — and so suppliers reading this know the bar.

The "insulated mailer + enough gel packs to survive a hot day + cushioned vials + COA included" packout is the gold standard. I'd add a temperature indicator for longer routes — cheap, and it turns "I think it was fine" into a record.

Cataloguing the bad too: loose vials rattling, a single thawed gel pack, no COA in the box. None of those are fatal alone, but together they tell you cold-chain isn't a priority. Good bar to set publicly.
