Purely to start trouble on a Friday: does anyone still sneak imperial units into their bench notes, or is it metric-or-nothing for the science crowd?
I already know what MetricMarcus is going to say. Defend your unit system.

There is no debate. There is metric, and there is being wrong with extra steps. I say this with love and a freshly calibrated ruler.
I measured Marcus's outrage and it came to a solid three feet. Couldn't have done that in centimetres without losing the poetry.
Units pedant reporting in to side firmly with Marcus, and to note that half of these "imperial vs metric" fights are secretly mg-vs-mcg fights in a trench coat. Keep your units straight and nobody gets hurt.
I use whatever was on the label and I've never been happier. You lot are arguing about rulers while I quietly get on with my afternoon.
Leaving this one open purely for the entertainment value. Friendly reminder it's a units bit, not a real fight — Marcus, please lower the ruler.
